We’re a big believer in doing all the small little things to help the environment and go green - and that includes the design of our photo booth experience to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Let’s start with the actual process of creating the photo. When you choose to go green means the booth doesn’t print out a photo, instead the photo is delivered digitally. Not only is this process better for the environment – less paper and ink used – it’s also a superior experience all around. These digital photos are easier to share via email and social networks and they’re also easier to edit, such as by adding new Instagram filters to every image.
To make digital sharing as easy as possible, each Nifty Booth comes with an integrated touchscreen that makes it possible to email, text and share images to social networks right from the event. You can even create animated GIFs. These digital photos make for fun, instantly shareable, personal souvenirs.
After talking with our customers, we’ve realized that more and more people are choosing to digitally scrapbook their lives, putting all their photos in the cloud rather than printing them out one by one. They would rather create Facebook photo albums than print out hardbound photo albums. And they would prefer to store thousands of photos in the cloud rather than hundreds of photos in a dusty shoe box.
Another big plus of going green is that it reduces the cost of the rental. Since we don't have to supply paper and ink we can reduce the rental price by $100. Sweet right?
However, if you do decide to print out the photos later, you can print out exactly the images you want for that perfect memory from a wedding or other event. You’re not printing out photos you won’t use, and that’s good for the environment. It’s still easy to make 4x6 prints from the event, but you’re able to do it in a way that minimizes the environmental impact.
This commitment to going green has influenced the way we designed The Nifty Booth in the first place. We opted for an open-air design that integrates organically with the environment around you. It’s not a closed box that stands out awkwardly at an event. We wanted to create a fully immersive experience that fits any venue and that takes up the minimum possible footprint.
That open-air design also makes for superior natural lighting, which is really the key to great photography. Just have a look at some of the photos in our event galleries – you can see the difference that all-natural lighting from the sun makes.
For so many different reasons, it just makes sense to go green when you rent a photo booth. The Nifty Booth has made going green a priority and has designed an overall photographic experience that we think encourages people to share photos digitally rather than printing out manually.
Our open-air booths encourage people to get out and experience their natural surroundings. There is simply no better light than natural sunlight, and that’s why our open-air photo booths deliver such amazing, high-quality images every single time.
Come on! Go ahead and
